Floyd Mayweather Jr will go down in history as the greatest fighter to date. His sterling 50-0 record over his 21-year career saw him defeat the biggest names the boxing world could throw at him. He defended his super-featherweight title 8 times before progressing through the weight divisions to sit atop the welterweight rankings as a 42-year-old.
One of Mayweather’s most memorable wins was in September 2013 as he put on a masterclass to take down rising Mexican star, Saul Alvarez. The champ was hot tip to win the fight, but was also challenged by the plucky youngster whose technique and skill meant the fight would go the distance. A sold-out crowd at MGM Grand in Las Vegas would see Mayweather notch up his 45th undefeated victory.
