Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection Review: Fighting Game Bliss

Street Fighter is one of the most popular video game series in the world, and odds are you've never played the game that started it all. To be fair, you aren't missing much—there's only one playable character, Ryu (Ken shows up as the character another player can use, should you want to play head-to-head), the fighting is janky as hell, and the music sucks. But for the 30th anniversary of Street Fighter, Capcom is re-releasing this and eleven more arcade classics in Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, an assemblage of beloved, rare, and arcade-faithful games. In addition to the original Street Fighter, the collection includes every official arcade version of Street Fighter IIand Street Fighter 3, along with all three entries in the Street Fighter Alpha prequel series. It's amazing.
